Actually that's not true.  There are a lot of people in my class (11th 
grade) that couldn't add 365 and 365 without a calculator, let alone 
multiply it by 35, remember the leap years, and all the other things that 
were brought.  Actually, I can't think of too many people that could do 
that, or more likely would use paper, so you don't have to feel too bad.  :)
