BroTom:
You are comparing apples with kumquats, my brother. These scriptures are
talking about rebuke, but *your* very words are defending, justifying even
glorifying "debates". And the way you appear to be doing that is by calling
debates rebukes, which they are not.

Me:
Ummm... I was trying to tell you from the start that I am refering to
rebuke and not "contention (rebellion against Ordained Authority), debate
(vain/Godless prattle ;-) and strife (trouble for trouble's sake).

Your whole argument is defeated in the answer to these questions: "Is it a
sin to express anger?" and "Is it a sin to disagree with someone, even your
spouse?"

The Bible is clear that neither is a sin and therefore I ask, "How then can
it be a sin to angrily disagree with your spouse?" The whole TRICK is to be
anger WITHOUT sin. ;-)

That takes the Holy Ghost! It's the ***ONLY*** way to be mad at someone
without all of the *nasties* you have so thoroughly and convincingly decried
as sin. ;-)

Well, that three for today. What many of you do not know is that I am here
by grace (no, not just the Lord's). I was told not to overpost or face
*permanent* expulsion. So this is the prime opportunity for my enemies to
bait me. ;-> I aint worried. All things work together for good to those
who love the Lord and are the called in accord with His Purpose... To this
end, I have set a self imposed limit of three posts a day and will TRY to
keep it *under* that. I was at one time granted the dispensation to exceed
this limit to respond to the posts directly addressing me, but then, there
are times they all pretty much do. So if I seem to ignore your post, I am
not purposely being rude. I will try to address some of the more important
(in my own mind ;-) off the list and have already done so in a couple of
cases.

This will not be easy for me since I slaughter so many *sacred cows* with
total disregard of person and am therefore the object of many attacks from
many sides at once and I, like David, have a real passion for battle, so
Y'all pray for me, huh? Especially if you disagree...

Jude 1
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common
salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye
should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the
saints.
