Dave asks:
Can you apply this same reasoning to yourself as well? You may be "good"
in your eyes, but what about in God's? Aren't we supposed to show mercy?
If we don't show mercy, didn't the Bible say we would not be shown
mercy?

Dave quotes the Bible:
Luke 6:37
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall
not
be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
James 2:13
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no
mercy;
and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

I think I'd drop my stones before I go and decide who is going to heaven
and who is not...

Dave responds:
The Gospel is "Good news" not "bad news", i.e., "they are going to
hell!" Such approach will turn anyone off. It's no wonder why Oneness
are classified as such. Maybe some (I said some not all) Oneness
Pentecostals give Trinitarians a reason to think of Oneness as a cult.
Think about it. If you're approach is nothing more than "I'm going to
show you the truth and prove that you're believing a lie", then you mind
as well talk to a wall because most people will not even listen. I know
I wouldn't. I am turned off by people who want to debate and argue. I
don't mind reasoning in a descent manner. But when a superior attitude
confronts me, I would rather say "Hey bud, you win this debate. I'm
outta here. You can have this one. See ya!" I don't like confrontations.
There are ways to approach things and get your point across. And I'm not
talking about putting icing on the cake either.
