>I don't think your interpretation is correct. Jesus said these were
>"workers of iniquity" or those who practice sinning. There are a couple

>of sins that can prevent a person from entering into heaven. All sins
>can be forgiven. However, the sin of "no love or agape" and
>"unforgiveness" will definately keep a person from entering into
Heaven.
>Even the Apostle Paul said in I Cor.13 that he can speak in tongues of
>men and angels, but if he did not have charity or love, he was nothing.

>So again, I believe your analysis and interpretation of Jesus' words is

>not totally accurate. Wouldn't you think that unforgivenenss and a lack

>of love will keep a person who claims to have obeyed Acts 2:38 and
lives
>a holy life out of heaven? It sure will.
---------------------------------------------------------

Jesus did say there was one sin that would not be forgiven:
"Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be
forgiven
unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven
unto men."
Matt. 12:31

You say there are a couple of sins that can prevent a person from
entering into
heaven, well the Bible seems to indicate that any unforgiven sin will
keep a person
out of heaven, that is why we all need to daily check ourselves and keep
a
repentant heart towards God for any action or attitude that needs to be
forgiven.
This next verse was written to the church:
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is
not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I John 1:8,9

Even for truely born again people, we must hold fast and live for God
till the end:
"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall
endure
unto the end, the same shall be saved. Mark 13:13

But those who have not believed the truth about one God and God's plan
of
salvation are in definite danger of not making it to heaven according to
the scriptures:

"And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to
them
that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of
unbelief."
Heb. 3:18,19

"I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye
believe not that
I am he, ye shall die in your sins. John 8:24

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born
of
water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." John
3:5

Now back to this verse, you just focused on "iniquity" as the reason
this
couldn't apply as I previously indicated, but you can clearly see from
the
first part of this verse that it is talking about people who are
practicing
Christianity and also must have the Holy Ghost to be able to cast out
devils, and it is true that many trinity-pentecostals have a genuine
infilling of the Holy Ghost but have not allowed the Spirit to lead them

into the truth of salvation and one God. And as far as iniquity, it
can
mean any sin at all, but remember, unbelief is a sin, and they are
unbelieving
of one God and the true Bible plan of salvation. Also the verse says
"I never knew you", *not* that they did know Him in Spirit *and* in
truth
and then backslid, but that He *never* knew them, they were never
genuinely saved even though they did have the Holy Ghost to cast out
devils,
they just resisted the leading of the Holy Ghost into the truth of one
God
and the Bible plan of salvation.

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied
in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name
done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them,
I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matt. 7:22,23

Yes, a lack of love and unforgiveness, just like *any* other unrepented,

unforgiven sin, will keep a person out of heaven even if they have
obeyed Acts 2:38 and believe in one God, .....but for those who are not
really even saved yet according to the scriptures because they haven't
obeyed Acts 2:38 and don't believe in one God, it doesn't matter how
much
love they have or how holy they live because that alone won't save them
either without obeying the true plan of salvation and believing in one
God.

If we *really* love those who don't yet know the truth, we will try to
share
the truth with them (with a right attitude) so they can become genuinely

"born again", ......those of us who were not born into an apostolic
family -
how did you learn the apostolic truth ? ......did you just happen to be
reading
the scriptures on your own and you saw it, (not impossible, but probally
not
the norm), or did someone care enough about your soul to try to reach
you ?

The bottom line is yes, we do need to present the truth with a right
attitude,
but we do need to sow the truth as much as possible while there is still
time.
