Go placidly amimidist the noise and haste, and remember what peace there
may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender, be on good
terms with all people. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen
to others, even the dull and ignorant; they, too have their story. Avoid
loud and profane people, they are a vexation of the spirit.
If you compare yourself to others, you may become vain and bitter;for
always there will others of lessor or greater people than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your
own career, however humble; it is a real possession in these changing
times.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of
deception.
Be your self. do not fake affection. Do not be cynical in about love.
Take kindly the council of years, gracefully surrendering the things of
youth. Nurture the stength of the spirit to shield you in times of
trouble, but do not distress yourself with your imagination. Most fears
are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be
gentle with your self.
You are a child of this universe and you have a right to be here as well
as the
trees and the stars. And where or not it is clear to you it is unfolding
as it was planed, where or not you understand.
Therefore be at peace with God, and whatever your plans and desires, in
all this noise and confusion be at peace with Him, and your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, sin and broken dreams this is still a
beautiful world.
Be careful and strive to be happy.

I found this in an old Readers Digest. It spoke to me and I hope it does
to you.
God bless you all.
