I'm one of the music worship leaders at our AG church. I play lead guitar
and bass, although not at the same time. :) Obviously I have to sing but I
don't have that great a voice -- I can at least carry a tune. I play what's
called "arrangers piano" or maybe more aptly -- "noodler piano". ;-)

Before I was saved I was a music education major at Berklee College of Music
for a couple years. That was quite a while ago and I didn't stick with it --
I like to tell people that that was in a "previous life". ;-) Today I only
publicly play unto the Lord and though I still really enjoy jazz and
creative instrumental music I don't have much time to practice any more. :-(

Oh yeh! As far as my UPC musical pedigree...
Back in '88, an arrangement I wrote was played by the now defunct "Boston
Brass" at the UPCI General Conference in Oklahoma City that year. It was
kind of a strange little quirky gospel/jazz arrangement of "Yes, Jesus Love
Me". (Played at an uptempo 3/4 time) If any of y'all were there at that time
maybe you heard it? -- Don't worry, you didn't miss much if you didn't. :) I
was singing with the Boston UPC church choir which also was at Conference
that year.
