Bro. Brown,
Since I have discerned that music is a hot potato and since I have
extremely strong opinions on what is (christian)? Gospel worship. I must
refrain from further comment for peace sake. But; there is a great gulf
between what is worship music and what is commercial ear pleasing , money
making music. If I have to explain. then I have found that it is time
wasted . Like trying to show a trinitarian that is firmly set, the truth
about his God. As I've heard Elder Pugh say many times " a man convinced
against his will, is of the same opinion still " I love and play gospel
music and can tell when people ( sinners and saints) are feelling the
tingly sensation that well performed music will empart. But when Worship
music goes forth under the power an anointing of the Holy Ghost , yokes
are broken, fallow ground is broken up , seed is able to land on the good
ground. What good is the seed if it hits in the wrong ground? It will
spring up but there is no root. "For lack of Knowledge MY people are
destroyed" He said my people .
" Gaurd your Heart with all dillegence " " From the heart the mouth
speaketh"
Pardon me but it is a fire shut up in my bones. There is no excuse .
Since Adam, men know the difference between good and evil.God said it
plainly. We that are led of the Spirit know for sure the truth about all
things. (knoweth all Things") Yes we must speak the truth in love. Your's
in Christ.
