Rich,
Yep, Bro Arnold did use the term fag, queer, twinkie
to talk about a homosexual, but he was making a very fine point.
To your earlier question, I am still thinking more about it and
thought this:
When a pastor/preacher talks about television and how its
wrong, doesn't that offend some of those that have televisions?
When they preach against make-up, cutting hair, etc..won't
that offend someone who might be there wearing make-up?
I believe that in a way, we do need to take into consideration
of the crowd who we are preaching to. Bro Jones said this Wednesday
night...that we do have to handle those in the 90's different.
But this in no way to me means we need to water down the message!
We will step on toes when preaching against sin. We will make enemies
when saying this or that. It is those people who need to make up in
their mind whether to continue in the sinful way, or go to God and make
things right. If I am offended by someone in my church, I don't let that
keep me from God. If it does, I need to check my heart.
Just a opinion,
Chris Sterrett

ps. Rich, you know brother Ryan Crossley?
