There's an Apostolic newspaper released this month in which the editor
lambasts the practice of clapping hands in church. He says hand-clapping is
not a Scriptural practice. How about it? Is this "fleshly" as he suggests?

Not that I'm criticizing an anointed minister of God, but he may not be aware
of Psalms 47:1, Psalm 98 esp. verse 8, and Isaiah 55:12. Clearly, hand
clapping was used in worship.

There are other references to "clap"ping that have a different purpose. In
Job 27:23, Lam. 2:15, and Nahum 3:19, hands are clapped in a fashion similar
to us clapping our hands to drive away a cat or something.

I hope this helps,
