You can tell a really *GOOD* drummer because he can play fast quitely.
I have seen jazz drummers that had increddible finesse and control,
yet were soft enough to permit a converstion in a normal voice right
next to the drums.
The drummer I saw at a conference where the minister who leads PAC
(can't think of his name right now) pastors was like that too, but I
have not seen other church drummers that were that good.
A college freshman and music major from the church in Appelton WI was
visiting our church last Sunday, and she seemed to have that kind of
control too, but I only played alter call with her, so I do not have
much experience to know if she really is that good or not. I suspect
she is.
