H> Someone brought up the subject of Bible school and preaching.
H> I feel God is leading me into the preaching field and feel that
H> I need to take some courses in bible school...(IBC since I am 40
H> minutes away) Now I know you don't have to go to Bible school
H> to become a preacher as some say, but?? It is up to me whether
H> I go or not but I am curious to see what people think about Bible
H> school. I have heard some say it is a waste of time. IBC is
H> nicknamed the Indiana Bridal college because I am told that's where
H> the girls go to get married. Rich, I know you go there and I have
H> heard many people from IBC preach and my pastor of all people says

Go!!!! I went to IBC back in Fall 95, and If everything goes well, I
will be back there in the spring of 97. The best way is to go a semester at
a time. Let God work with you in finding out what he wants. There is a Big
difference in what you want and what God wants. I love IBC, and It may be
called the Indiana Bridal College, But I think God places people there who
are concerned about serving HIM and he brings them together. I was talking
to a man who's son goes to JCM, He said he is not sure yet what is
happening, But that he feels God wanted him there at least for this time.
You never know until you try. So I would suggest you go for a semester and
see what God leads you to. If you are not to preach, You will still get
more out of 1 semester than you could in a long while into the future.
