I understand how you feel.  I am also called into an Ephesians 4:11
ministry.  You are in a better position than you think.  Because you
are attending a secular university you have a greater opportunity to
learn evangelism than anyone attending Bible School.  You are
surrounded with probably thousands of young people that are still
making their minds up about how they view life.  Sure, it's different
than preaching in a church.  It is the kind of evangelism you will be
teaching others someday.  Anyway, we are not called to preach.
Preaching is one way God accomplishes whatever he has called us to do.

I don't want to discourage you from following God's will in your life.
I will be happy for you in whatever God does with your life.  Secular
college can be a lonely place.  I know - I am attending the
University of Maryland after my day job.  The Apostle Paul was ushered
to the back side of a desert for his initial training.  Use the time
God has given you at that school to become molded into His image.  You
have it better than most!
