Chris
The highest calling of all is to be a saint. The ministry is definatley
not a money making venue. But the rewards of seeing others filled with
the Holy Ghost is not worth all the money there is. There are of course
English and Math classes also with Bible College. Those you may have
already taken. Get with your Pastor and start on the required reading
listl and if your district has their own requirements then beware of
this. For instance our District now requires not just to have preached 26
times in the last 6 months- they want dates for proof! if you feel you
want to travel only 40 miles then IBC is a more spiritual choice than the
secular field. The only thing some would say is that you can witness to
more in a secular school. That is a weak argument and in reality the
example of a dedicated life did more for me than any teacher I had. And
the bridal thing? Well he who findeth a wife findeth a good thing, but it
is better to dwell in the tents of wickedness than with a brawling woman
in a wide house.
I can say it is because of Bible School that I know my wife but just
because a mutual friend introduced us after each of us were out of
school..
