Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, Saints!!

These few lines is just to let you know that when God speaks, we should
listen. I told you all earlier that I was still praying and fasting for a
date to wed my sweetheart. You know how we saints can be with God sometimes.
After praying for a specific thing for any amount of time, some of us begin
to wonder is God really listening. We may become discouraged in our prayers
if they are not answered as soon as we think they should be. How many of us
know that God is the slowest man we know, but He is never late. God will
send the answer when we least expect it which is what He did for me.

Returning home from work about a week ago from work, the Lord stronly
impressed upon me the need to pray, and you all know how we can be sometimes.
We have a tendency to think of everything else we could do instead of what
He says. Anyway, I was obedient to His voice. In the midst of the prayer,
the Lord really blessed my soul through the words He spoke through my tears.
In His still small voice He said, July 26 has found favor with me. As you
know I commenced to give God the praise for His answer that made my day.
When I called my fiance to let her know....she already knew. Isn't that just
like the God we serve to confirm His will to not only one of us, but to the
both of us. Thank you, Jesus!!!!!

So I have kept my promise to let you all know when I will be marrying my
sweetheart.....July 26, 1997. Mark those calendars. The wedding will be in
North Carolina which is our home. Please pray for us now that God will
continue to give us the grace that we need to hold on to His hand and
continue to please Him in our lives together.

By the way, I pray that through this testimony that we as Saints of the Most
High God will now be more willing to hear as well as heed His voice when He
speaks. We never know what He's got in store. God bless.
