In defence of secular education

   I agree with you Bro. Kirk.  I think that a college education in the
secular field is very advisable to any Christian young person. The
church in Florida were I grew up in didn't encourage the youth to go to
college in fact they discouraged it as it was "Non -Christian".  My
parents though stood behind me and in fact encouraged me to get a
college education.   
   I think for a young woman it's doubly important to receive a education
in this time and age.  My mother always said there might come a time if
my husband died or God forbid that ugly word "divorced" me, that I would
need what I learned.  
  I still have a few more classes to take to finish my major in Computer
Assisted Drafting and Design.  When I'm through who knows I might one
day build any one of you a house.  This is something that I could even
use for God, as I could someday design a Church.  :-)  Even the secular
education can be used for God!!!!
  Even though I didn't get a chance to attend the Christian Life College
I know that God can use this education for himself.
