"We're here on this lovely autumn day for the annual face off between
these long time rivals. I can see the band from the western team
beginning to warm up.. Bro. Godine is truly amazing, always able to
get the crowd in the mood with new arrangements of 20 year old tunes
.. and you can year the synthesizer chorus bulding on the other side.
They are new to the event, but Tony Davis has outfitted the IBC Soul
Sacker band in some very awsome and up to date uniforms.

And now, its bringing tears to my eyes, you ought to be where I am
sitting, but here comes Linebacker Daniel Seagraves on the field
holding the King James Version just as high as Ive ever seen him do
it! One thing I love about CLC, these greats never retire! And
following him here comes the new 1997  line up. What an impressive
group! Is that ... ? No, for a moment I thought Sister Joy Haney was
getting ready to flip the coin, but I see that she is praying over in
the box seats.

Charging on the field on the otherside, and stopping to show the
registrar their paid tuition receipts, here comes the Soul Sackers..
Brother Rich Brown is once again checking all the team members for
chewing gum before they step foot on this newly purchased astro-turf. 

Way up in the tower now, Im looking at Headmaster Mooney, giving the
signal.. anything can happen here, anything at all, as Christian young
People trade in their piety and manners for an afternoon of rough and
tumble, to raise money for their Bible School telephone bills!
