Gentlemen and women:

Thought you might want to know what we've just
learned at Focus:

The senate has voted *in favor* of the Defense of
Marriage Act (DOMA) 85-14!!  Praise God for folks 
who will defend the institution of marriage.

Furthermore, the senate voted *against* EDNA,
the legislation proposed by Ted Kennedy, that
would have codified so-called sexual orientation
into the 1964 Civil Rights Act.  Only one senator
was not there (a democrat), and the vote was
50-49!  Had he been there, it may have been a
tie vote, which would have allowed the VP to
break the tie...  again, PRAISE GOD!  Morality
is still the law of the land.
