Really what are our differences? We all believe the salvation message of
repentance, baptism in Jesus' Name and the infilling of the Holy Ghost.
All Apostolic organisations believe in holiness (of course the restrictives
(bad word, huh?) vary). But, having travelled with the IYC (Indiana Youth
Choir) for several years and through several districts and churches, I can
say holiness standards vary greatly in our own fellowship (UPC).

Don't get me wrong, I believe in holiness. There is, however, a difference
between variance and deep-end liberals who wish to forsake all of the standards.
I am not calling for the unity of Apostolics with these 'has-beens' who are no
longer living a code of Scriptural godliness, but I would love to see us put
aside some more marginal issues and embrace one another fulfilling the great
prayer of Christ 'Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast
given me that they may be one, as we are' (Jn. 17.11b).

Unity is, I believe most sincerely, the key to Apostolic revival. I was dis-
cussing with Bro. Kirk VanOoteghem the other day that in number, I believe
that Oneness Pentecostals, as represented in the various Apostolic
organisations, outnumber Trinitarian Pentecostals. If we could simply bind
together in fellowship and cause, we could indeed see great(er) revival and
many souls added to the kingdom of God.

All Honour to the Lord Jesus Christ,
