I need a "fitly joined together" story-analogy

I need a good story that will analogize (is this a word?) the "fitly
joined together" concept of what the Church of God is as explained by
Paul. And I'd like to use one other than parts of the body, preferably
one that is not so transparent.

For example, maybe one that starts out like, "And the violin maker then
created the neck part. He matched the new wood samples to the violin
body, then smoothed out its rough edges, and then.... "

My objective: to reinforce the "fitly joined together" concept in my
music newsletter (which, of course, is late).

TIA (Thanks In Advance)
