Although this sister is correct in history, these holidays provide a
great opportunity to reach the lost. These two times of the year may be
the only times sinners even come close to thinking about Jesus.

(We call Easter "Resurrection Sunday" and celebrate that, because He
was, in fact, resurrected.)
