To Gia Moran,
I don't believe God needs paganistic holidays to save his people. Most of
what I see on these days is Santa Claus being exalted above Jesus on Christmas,
and his Resurrectionn being contested on Easter. Besides, where in the bible
did God use the aid of paganistic holidays to save his people, or even observe
paganistic holidays. True apostolics do not practice paganism. Jesus being born
on December 25th is a lie. Apostolics should find it offensive to take false
gods and idols and bring them into the birth of Christ. The entire Christmas
celebration is a lie. , and Easter descended from pagan sun worship. Catholic
Doctrine simply paralleled the pagan death and resurrection myths of the sun
gods with the story of Christ's crucifixion and Ascension. Christ now rises
with the ascending sun at the time of the Vernal Equinox when plant life and
all forms of vegetation appear again on earth, and is celebrated with the same
customs as that of the Heathen rites namely, rabbits, chicken, and colored
eggs. So to simply give this holiday a different name is not within the will of
God. God is not in the business of deception so he will not be a part of a lie,
nor will he allow his people to be. We are to worship him in SPIRIT AND IN
TRUTH. If you want more information on paganistic holidays let me know. My info
