Computers, or rather, the lack thereof

To further add to the discussion about computing, I will mention that I
am not as "into it" as I once was. For a while there I was very gung-ho
about technology, but anymore I just... well, to put it bluntly, I just
don't care. I guess maybe it's because I am a computer science major now
and I get this stuff lodged down my throat all day, or maybe it's just
burnout. Whatever the case, I have a newly-found appreciation for the
arts and outdoor recreation. I have joined a symphony orchetstra
as an upright bass player, and I am looking to pick up a new 5 string
(hopefully a Tobias!). Plus, I have invested in a pretty swift mountain
bike to ride the on the trails and through the countryside. So what's my
point?! My point is that if you fit the descriptions of Tyler's "Top 10
Signs You Are Too Attached to Your Computer", or any other such list,
you should shut it down and find an appreciation for some sort of art or
recreation that will use the time your computer used to take from you.
It is a beautiful world! You should push away from the desktop, forget
Microsoft ever existed and go outside for a breath of fresh air! I have
done this and it has been a very rewarding experience!
