Bad Rumor

I heard a bad rumor this evening from a friend of mine that is a UPC
minister, although he is not computer literate.  He said he had heard
that there was a resolution (I haven't seen it) that would call for a
vote as to whether UPC ministers should be on the internet.

Appearently, there is concern among our non-internet using ministry
that this internet thing is very evil.  After all, they read and heard
on the news this year that there are dirty pictures and other porn on
the net.  Therefore, saints, and especially ministers, should not have
anything to do with it.  There seems to be a fear that while reading
your email, all of a sudden naked women will appear on your screen
outside of your control.  ;-)

I empathize with their concerns, but this could become a really
serious issue at conference.  Have any of you heard this rumor also?
