I am in my junior year, working on a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer
Science.

According to what I have heard, one of the hottest fields right now is the
area of networking. A good friend of mine went to a school for several
months and now has a pretty nice job as a network support technician.
For only a few months of college, he has managed to make a salary of
$35,000! This is a pretty nice amount of earnings compared to how long
(or how short, rather!) it took him to get his computing education. He
works for a contractor which has a very large contract with Mobil Oil
Co. He works on site at one of Mobil's facilities in Fairfax, Virginia.
