Talking about raising money makes me think of Bro Mooney here in 
Indiana.  During the family camp this year, he raised $30,000 +
in just 30 minutes.  This was to build a new dorm for the camp.
During MARC conference Bro Mooney once again went about to raise
money to help the Crossley(I hope that I spelled this right)
family in Argentina to come home for the funeral of Bro Crossley's
father.  Bro Mooney raised $3,000 + in just 30 seconds!  He asked
30 people to stand up and pledge $100.  It worked.  Bro Mooney
throughout the MARC conference and during offering time, would
have the one praying for the offering to ,"pray a $3,000 prayer,
$4,000 prayer,etc" to help pay for the conference.  I don't know
if they got the money they needed, but the faith of Bro Mooney 
in getting this money for various things is strong.  Not to 
mention his determination.  A few years ago, I remember visiting
Calvary for a service and he was raising money for something.
This happened before the preaching.  He stood there and did not
preach until the money had been raised.  He preached that night.
