Sis. Laurie, I know exactly where you are coming from.  I call them
"Jerimiah trees", partly joking, partly serious.  My wife and daughter
still like them, but for me -- I could go the rest of my life without
having one, but then again, I am not opposed to others having them.
Just watch out for me at Christmas time, because I will read that
passage from Jerimiah to anyone with a tree that will listen to me.  I
find it suprising how many people are not aware of that passage.
