Greetings CJ, you wrote thusly:

Sometimes, mail gets kinda lost after it's sent... it just get sent to
email oblivion. Had it made it through to the listproc the first time
and had been rejected, us owner/moderators would have sent back a copy
of it to you so you could have added a smiley or made some other minor
change so that you could post what you wanted to say.

BTW- saints, when CJ sent me the message that she sent to the listproc
about getting the list of subscribers to H-F, I discovered a reason why
some commands just don't make it to the listproc. It came back to her
because it was received as "empty" not knowing what to do. Upon examination
of her message, it went something like this:
CJ>>To: listproc@prairienet.org
CJ>>Subject: (no subject)
CJ>>
CJ>>--
CJ>>review higher-fire
Email programs commonly insert the "signature" file after a line that
begins with two hyphens at the beginning of a sentence. Since CJ's
command was after the double hyphens "--" it was considered a comment
to be ignored, thus making her command empty. If you've had similiar
problems with the listproc, it's probably for this reason.

"Lurkers" is emailing list term used for people that "receive" email
from a list, but don't normally engage themselves in the discussions and
interplay of ideas, thoughts, etc. By *lurking* nobody (except the
moderator/owners or anybody that does a regular review of the list and
compares past lists to current lists) really knows your listening/reading
the conversations that have been going on. Essentially invisible. Lurking
isn't bad and not meant to be degrading. That's just the common term used
on the 'net for *list listeners*.
I'd say prior to CJ's email, CJ was a "lurker". On other lists, when a
*lurker* comes out of hiding and starts to engage himself/herself in some
of the conversation, he/she is commonly said to have "decloaked" from
invisibility to say something. Taken from the action of a Klingon or
Romulan space ship in the Star Trek television series when the "cloaking
device" (that renders invisibility) has be deactivated. Sometimes those
that have *decloaked* return to a *lurking* mode, sometimes not.

Ahhhhh.... the brownie points mount as the moderator/owners are
complimented. Sometimes a much "thankless" job. But lately have
received a fair amount of "Thank you's" from the saints on the
list. I appreciate it very much. I believe Bro. Richard appreciates
the "Thank you's" as much as I do as well.
To which I say... "Thank you and your welcome" for the thank you's given.
Bro. Tyler
