Are you saying that women shouldn't cut off split ends? I honestly don't
see how there is anything wrong with that. The hair is the women's
covering. Coverings help the appearance of things. So, not only should
women's hair be able to be distinguished from men's hair, but it should be
neat. Cutting split ends keeps it neat.

Shorn or Shear- To remove hair etc.. by cutting or clipping with a sharp
instument. 2.to remove the hair or fleece from. 3. to cut with or as if with
shears.. (The American Heritage Dictionary)

Yes I do agree that all hair should be kept neat. But as the dictionary as
said, Shorn or shear is to cut. Since because of this difinition, I believe
that the scripture in I Cor. does talk of Un-cut hair for women. Split ends is
still something I am waiting for God to make a revelation on to me. That is why
I play it safe and believe according to the difinition given above.
What gets me is the length of men's hair. If we believe that if womens is long
as she doesn't cut it. THen Men can grow it to any length as long as they cut
it. Though I do believe that men hair should be above the collar,
where in the bible does it say what length? It just says "long hair is a shame
to men."****************

again, I'm almost positive Paul was speaking concerning women cutting
their hair to look like the men. That's what made it so shameful, not the
actual length of her hair.
But I don't want to get to deep into it, because people have differing
views about that scripture. Also, when a woman is not praying or
prophesying, can she then cut her hair?

I do not believe so, but who would cut their hair in the middle of a service?

What happens to the women who have a brain tumor or cancer and their
hair falls out because of the chemotherapy or it has to be cut to get
to the tumor?? Have they lost their "glory" in God's eyes? What do you
think??

I haven't seen anything in the bible pertaining to this, But nature can take
its course, and if it falls out, it falls out. This is when I have seen most
women wear a head scarf, hat or something to cover their head like the hair did
once. I do not believe that they have lost their "glory" since it was lost due
to chimical forces and not by their own will. For remember, women can go
naturally bald just as well as men, though less frequently.
