Thursday A.M. was a business meeting that re-elected Bro.
the Gen. sec.
The area of display was done very tastefully.
I stay mostly in the missionary area, ilike the feeling of the burden
of missions that I feel there.
There is so much facade in people , the people I see there are open faced
and
you can sence a haste to re-turn to their field.
The flag ceremony for the oening of the night service was tremendous. As
the flags of each nation were we have churches was very beautifil. As
the flags
were carried in the nations by alpabetetical order was called out and the
number of churches in each nation was numbered.
In the USA each district was numbered and also for Canada.
The singing of the USA national antham was , what can I say, very well
done and beautiful, as Sis. Grisom from Texas sang and she went so high,
and I really mean HIGH. I thought the glass was gone for sure.
Canad's antam was sang by a Canadian brother.
Then all sang America the Beautiful. As each nation put their countries
name
in the place of America.
WE had a harvest time broadcast made for the week of thangiing, Nov. 24.
You would do well to listen. The choir from Columbia,Ms. sang and they
were good. They had a lady bass guitar player. For all you bass players.
Bro.Urshan and Bro. Becton both preached fpr a short time on the soon
coming of Jesus.
The singing went on until ten o'clock. I could not tell you all who
sang, but you can order the tapes. Audio and video.( video only if you
have a player ) he-he.
The Spirit was very evident in the services.
I am having a blast.
BTW the Alamo DOME looks like a steam boat from the distance.
