> If they are going to trim their hair, they might as well shave it all

Naah...the split ends are ok. In fact the whole idea of the hair cutting
was a tradition, not a commandment.
> Someone stated that standards are not a salvation issue.
> In a round about way, I disagree.
I disagree as well. In fact, Holiness itself is a standard by which we
all must live if we are to enter in. However, "traditions" are not
salvation issues, though they are usually good ideas to follow.
> Why is it we can preach against going to the movies YET have a

I've often wondered about the differences, because I have one of the
finest home theatres in my home... ; )
> Bro Jerry Jones said we need to quit trying to force our standards

How true.
> There will be many people in the Apostolic churches that will not

Here you again imply that people who do not have the "same" standards are
below you. Why would you think that they are not in the truth already?
Are you praying for them to see things "your way"? Our only prayer for
all saints is that they live victorious over "sin".
> Finally in closing of this long letter, I have many standards which are

Do you pray for those who listen to contemporary christian music that
they might come into the "truth"? I love some contemporary music, and
even christian instrumentals. (try Allen & Allen).
