Dear Bro. Ray,

I have also noticed that many women, especially Eastern block women
(Russian, Juguslawian, Hungarian etc.) have their head covered with a scarf
during church. That is okay with me, cause it is their custom and tradition.
The bible does state that our hair is our covering, but how we wear it is up
to us. What really shocked me though was the last remark you made:

"I am still personally opposed to women cutting their hair (with the
exception of trimming split-ends)."

The bible clearly states not to cut our hair. Split ends or not. Most
everybody that has long hair has split-ends. That is a fact of life....I can
chop 20 inches off my hair with the excuse "my ends were split". Bro. I urge
you to rethink your statement and return to the bible principle of totally
uncut hair....cause if a woman cuts her hair she might as well be shorn and
that goes for split ends too. In Christ's love, Sis. Doris
