I'm following the book. It's just that when you implied that "proper Pentecostal ladies" wore 
poofs or buns, it registered in my mind that you were saying that anyone (female) who didn't wear 
one was NOT a "proper" Pentecostal lady, which would offend some.

I'm a male so it wouldn't matter to me, I'm just very sensitive to other people who may have been 
offended.
