No, I'm not saying that. It really makes me no difference, because I keep
my hair short. I just brought it up as a point of discussion, not to
upset anyone. In our church, the women do cut their hair, into styles
even (though I can't say I agree with that). People keep saying that
shaven is the same as cutting the ends, and I beg to differ. When I shave
my face, I don't just cut the ends...I get down to the skin!

I Corinthians says nothing about cutting hair...it simply says let her be
covered, and him be uncovered. I think if Paul wanted to say let him be
cut and her uncut, he would have said just that.

However, I'm going to abandon this and all other conversations because
some people on higher-fire are so set in their ways that they have sent
me some pretty harsh mail concerning my position on things...some have
even said they want me to stop posting and claim that others reflect the
same feelings.

I THOUGHT that this was an environment for us to communicate peacefully
about our differing views just to get an idea of what's going on in our
various churches.

I don't think any worse of any person who says they don't believe in
Christmas trees or women not cutting their hair or no televisions...I
respect their views, and as long as they are baptized in Jesus' name and
have received the Holy Ghost as the Apostles have, and are true believers
in the Oneness of God, then they are my brother.

However, I have been accused of not being saved by some based on my views
and opinions. I am obviously mistaken about this being an open
environment for sharing. To be honest, it appears to be a UPC ONLY
environment...
