Shaven is not the same as cutting the ends, but to be shorn is.
Shorn is the past participle of shear which means to cut something
(ANY amount). And verse 6 says that it is a shame for a woman to be
SHORN or shaven.

He did. In verse 15 he specifically says that it is a woman's hair
that is given to her for a covering, and this covering is not to be
cut (shorn) at all (verse 6).

Those that would accuse you of such a thing are probably in dire need
of praying through themselves. I wish you would reconsider, I was
just beginning to enjoy our little talk. :-)
