Do you have the Holy Ghost ? Did you receive it in the manner that the
Apostles did on the day of Pentecost and as the world did as the wave
of the gospel rolled across the world unto this last day ?
Are you baptized in the name of Jesus and no longer wrestle with guilt
and shame ?
This is the ONLY proof that the Bible is true.
Prophecy IS God's way of documenting His plan and sovreignty. Some
miracles identify the supernatural power of God. But the world rejects
these, and are not proof in the sense that no other explaination
exists.
In the old times (2000 years ago) no one was arguing the validity of
scripture ('cept Satan perhaps).
After the ressurection and the Day of Pentecost, there was little
argument concerning the validity of scripture. However the argument
that DID exist was over the validity of the New Testament which was
not written. The contention came over the receiving of the Apostle's
*preaching*. They were familliar with this and expected the church to
have the same *difficult* relationship with the world, for Paul wrote
"... ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ
ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the
living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the
heart." 2 Cor 3:3
So then, there is no proof, but the demonstration of the REALITY of
the EXPERIENCE of PENTECOST is the proof, if there is any, that the
word will receive."
For a good grade, with God and man, I would suggest that you get up
and just testify to the power of God in YOUR life. What has God done
for you? what have your eyes seen ? We sing
"Look what the Lord has done! Look what the Lord has done!
He healed my body
He touched my mind
He saved me just in time!
I'm gonna praise His name
He's every day the same
Come on and praise Him
Look wht the Lord has done!"

Check with Bro. I. Baxter's EndTime ministry ... he's on the web, and
there is a reference link on our page at
http://eli.wariat.org/~mbasset/life.htm but I can't remember it at the
moment ...
(pardon the shameless plug for the website! :)
May God Bless you!
