Cutting is cutting and violates the scripture, and thus the teaching
of the  Apostle. Study it for yourself. I submitted a receent post,
there are other references, if you like I will send you some

We are not called to reason it out. We are called to hear, believe and
do the word of God. I understand this scripture, *with my
understanding*, and so do many of the women and men subscribed to the
list. Others do not.. but they will if they seek wisdom.

When I was baptized in the name of Jesus, I did not understand the
real nieed to receive the Holy Ghost and would have enjoyed believing
that I could lay back and, if the rapture happened (as someone trying
to "help" told me), the Lord would give it to me "on the way up"..
but, I believe the word and contunied in pressing to seek the Holy
Ghost and received it with all the promise resident in His Spirit!

One could say "I dont see why ... <anything>, Im not convicted" and
just continue along their way, and never do the will of God. But we
ought to allow the word to prevail.

"For my  thoughts  [are] not your  thoughts , neither [are] your ways
my ways, saith the LORD.  For [as] the heavens are  higher  than the
earth, so are my ways  higher  than your ways, and my thoughts  than
your  thoughts . " - Isa 55:8-9

We baptized a woman who had said this for 20 years a little while ago.
I was able to ask her, what makes the REAL difference, your feelings
or the word ? What is true? Your feelings or the WORD ? What are you
judged on, your feelings or the WORD ?", and God blessed by
penetrating that stubborn spirit and bringing light. She was baptized
in Jesus' name immediately!

Women ought to allow their hair to grow without interferance. They
ought not cut their "bangs" or "split ends" or any of that nonsense.

And men ought to interfere with its growth, and remove that which
hangs down.

But FIRST, lest anyone mock, they ought to repent and obey the gospel
and be filled with the Holy Ghost and love the Lord above all else.
