Greetings everyone..!
After reading a few post that have been made, I felt the need
to make a point. When someone makes a point to a group on
a discussion list, they have to be prepared to be critized. Whether
it be good critiscim, or bad, they will get responses usually. When the
issue of hair came up, obviously there is going to be disagreements.
I found that out when I made my views known regarding music ;)
Back to the hair issue though, I believe many well written issues have
been stated about it and it all comes down to whether one wants to
accept those answers or not. I do not consider myself to be the best
knowledgable person of the Bible but when I read I Corinthians, I see
a clear answer about whether or not a woman should cut her hair.
The words shave or shorn are right there. When it also talks about
the hair being the womans glory, why take away from it by
cutting/trimming it? By the way, hair grows naturally and from the
roots not the ends. The best thing to do with split ends is use some
of that horse shampoo thats on the market. IT WORKS! My mother
uses it and it has controlled her split ends by strengthening her hair.
OR, do as my sister did, she prayed about it and God answered by
letting her hair grow VERY long! (she had a bad case of split ends)
Is this a UPC only list? NO. Is there a lot of UPC views on here? YES.
What are UPC views? Biblically based standards.
God Bless and I am off to study about hair and stuff for
my Anatomy test tommorrow! ;)
