;) been there, done that.. got over that! Having long hair when you are used
to short is a bit of a 'hassle' at first but through practice and prayer I
believe any lady can learn how to care for long hair. I would not trade my
long hair for anything in the world. If you ask most men they all prefer
long hair anyway. I think it makes a lady look very feminine, a bit of which
we need in the world in which we live.
Split ends are the least of my worry. I'm not worried about if the world
notices my split ends but rather that God notices my long hair. It seems
that women and men today are trying to switch places in a sense. Men having
long hair, women having short, men being effeminate, and women being
masculine. Of course God never designed us to be that way so I'm not sure
why we fuss so much about it except that our flesh stands in rebellion. I'd
rather look like a lady anyday than a female brute ;) If that means not
cutting my hair, wearing dresses or whatever, so be it. If we didn't put so
much into our vanity it wouldn't even be an issue anyway.
