And believe me, there are a lot of them out there. I wish more people
would express their particular views. I'm really interested to see how
views differ in different parts of the country, different backgrounds,
different cultures, etc.

We are ALL going to need to know these things if we are going to win
souls. A lot of things the church didn't have to deal with in the past as
much as now, so we need to learn from one another.

My grandfather is a pastor, and in talking to him once, he stated that he
would hate to be a new pastor now. With things such as AIDS, teen
pregnancy, people who have had sex changes, etc. coming into the church,
he doesn't have the answers on the top of his head like he does for
people who come in with minor problems.

Let's face it, times are getting worse and "worser" and we need to be
prepared to deal with them. What do you tell a transsexual who comes in
and wants to be saved? What do you tell a hermaphrodite? How do you
counsel someone who was raised a crack baby?

You can't just say "pray and read your Bible"...it's not that simple, and
that's a cop-out! We really need to learn from one another and quit
fighting over petty things.

P.S. - the hair issue is dead as far as I'm concerned unless someone
wants to still discuss it "intelligently"
