I've just erased a more lengthy message, reluctantly addressing this.

It seems reasonable to assume that many of you will begin to receive
private message meant to reveal that I and others are "whores"
"infadels", "reprobates" or what have you.

Of course, I am not happy with this fact, or with the general nusance
which it makes me, being a light attracting bugs like this.

You will all judge for yourselves if I am anything at all, or what I
am. Perhaps you will even pay attention to the madness. You will judge
many things after all. Its not a nice world, and you do have to judge.
You are commended to judge righteous judgement. Those of you who have
the Holy Ghost might get flustered but God will see you through. I'm
not participating in this list to deceive anyone. Ive got a city to
minister to here, and don't need the agrivation. But ...

Despite the advise of all personal friends, and relatives to stay as
far away from conflict as possible, I could never see letting evil
have it's way. So, while I wanted to quit higher-fire a while back,
due to this problem, I didnt. 

The bottom line is, the messages which you receive which may be
characterized as deformation of character, or slander, should probably
be forwarded to someone in case they are one day needed for a lawsuit.
I personally don't care to see them, because it is my opinion, given
the grief this person has caused me, that he is not on the Lord's team
(to put it mildly). It seems that when you stand for something, these
angry "gunslingers" come after you. May all of God's people have
convictions which produce evidence!

May I ask that you forward such mail, header and all, to the list
owner (richardm@cd.com)? I don't mean to burden him with this, but its
logical because he has surely seen it all already while handling mail.

When Winter starts with the "censorship" issue, historically it means
that he's getting ready to fling a LOT of malevolence. Until the
problem is settled, there won't be a a let up from this stuff. Why
do't you folks take a vote, like the people on Jonah's ship, and dump
me if you want?
