H>FV> If one looks at how the early church interacted with
H>FV> Judaism, I believe one can find many parallels with how our
H>FV> fellowship must interact with trinitarians. We didn't
H>FV> discover the Truth, our forefathers simply responded when
H>FV> God restored Truth to His Church. And many of us like myself
H>FV> continue to respond today when we hear the message.

H>You are the victim of great deception. The gates of hell did not
prevail
H>against the true Church. Your RCC (note that I said "Your" right
there),
H>has never been the true Church, nor have her denominations.

H>Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon
this
H>rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail
 H>against it.

H>Your premise is founded on the assumption that the gates of hell did
H>prevail, but then there was a revival.

H>We sing it like this now:

H>"We're not children of Azuza street
H>we've got more power than they did back then,
H>we're not children of Azuza street cause
H>we're oneness and were not trin."
H> (sung to the tune of one of the UPC's
 H>great "mini-god" Sodomite songwriters tunes).

H>You have hit upon one of the greatest foundational causes of the
decent
H>into whoredom of so much of the UPC, and that is the belief that the
H>gates of hell prevailed against the true Church until Azuza Street.

H>I recommend you read some of Dr. Marvin Arnolds history books and
find
 H>out what really happened.

Steve:

Hmmm.... calm down!

I agree with you (for the most part); however, I cannot agree with your
attitude. I feel that the Church has never needed to be "reborn." I
believe the Church has been around throughout the 2000 years. However,
it is still true that many ministers (who later formed many of the
oneness organization we know of today) did intreat the Trinitarians as
brothers at the start. I am NOT saying they have truth. But, if we
fail to extend LOVE to them; how can God show them through US, His
truth? If WE are the light of the world, then OUR witness is truly dim
if we go on with the attitude you profess!

Show a little love and compassion, brother. Your Lord did.
