This is the first of a series of articles I was writting for the
campus ministry that is now shut down again.  So this series is also 
defunct as well since it and the AYA min. was together.

Words of Wisdom

Baptism, what is it? Is it a ritual for membership or a part of
salvation?  People today often ask "Do I really Have to be batized?"
The Answer is YES.  In John 3:5 "Except a man be born of the WATER
and of the Spirit, he Can Not see the Kingdom of God."  

People also say, ok, but exactly Why is it necessary?"
Peter in Acts 2:38 answered this question by replying "...and be
batized in the Name of Jesus Christ For the remission of your
sins..."  ANd also in I Peter 3:21, "Even now doth Baptism also 
save us."

So why not just obey God and be baptized in his name.

Acts 2:38  "Repent, and be Baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and
ye shall recieve the Gift of the Holy Ghost."
