        TRAGIC KINGDOM

The Walt Disney Co. - once a paragon of virtue and a
source of national pride - recently announced that it
will soon begin offering health coverage benefits to
the live-in partners of gay and lesbian employees.
        Curiously, however, unmarried heterosexual partners
are excluded from the policy. The company that
brought us Mickey Mouse and Cinderella thus joins
the liberal elite of the entertainment industry -
Universal, Paramount Pictures, Sony and Warner
Brothers - who have adopted similar policies over
        the last several years.

Because of Disney's status, conservative activists
now fear that other companies may soon follow suit.
"With the understanding that the homosexual agenda
has penetrated Hollywood, it should come as no
surprise that Disney now supports anti-family
values," lamented the Rev. Louis Sheldon of the
        Traditional Values Coalition.
