The individual killed, Paul, was one of my customers. He was
killed by a drunk driver last Tuesday night. Please pray for
the family and friends of the deceased, that they might begin
seeking for God as they search for answers.

As usually happens in these things, the drunk driver escaped with
minor injuries. He was released on $25K bond. He is a freshman
who was, ironically, a pledge in my student's fraternity (Delta Chi).
He was legally drunk (blood level 0.11) at the scene of the accident.

Paul was hit in the driver side of his pickup truck. The other
person was driving a Toyota truck and demolished Paul's truck.
We believe the driver crossed into Paul's lane, Paul swerved,
and was hit in the door. The attending physician said he must have
died instantly of a crushed chest.

Only these two people were involved. He was just in the wrong
place at the wrong time. Why fate selected Paul we will never
know, but he was perahps our best undergraduate role model -
a tremendously popular and respected kid. His college friends
are devasted.
