I'll start off by saying that it is difficult for me, having come into the Apostolic church by my own choice, to understand why someone who grew up in it would leave it. Perhaps you can explain that at some point. 

I too have the benefit of a secular education, with a degree in Jazz studies and one in Russian studies. I'm presently back in school pursuing multimedia training (Director, Authorware, etc.)

You mention wanting to discuss a range of issues and I think most of us would be up for that, as long as you recognize that its ok to talk about things that aren't doctrinal debates too. (i.e. the fact that I have a cold and my head hurts as I write this.)
