Fund Raising Opportunity

 I am not sure if anyone is interested but we have been
blessed to find a means to raise funds for our youth Bible
Quizzing team and other groups that has really been great!

We have a contact who can buy from major department stores
such as Marshalls, Wards, Target etc.  He buys their
returned merchandise, damaged stock, seasonal closeouts. 
It comes by truck on pallets and has everything from tons
of clothing to household goods.  You buy it depending on
the department store for anywhere from 15 - 25 percent of
the lowest marked retail cost.

An example is ... we received a load that cost around
$5000 plus another $1000 for shipping.  The church holds a
garage sale once a month.  This particular load sold for
around $12,000.  The Bible Team made $7,000 for three days
work over a weekend and financed their year.  We have had
a church in Indiana that made approx. $12,000 on one load.

If you need funds .. this is a great way to make it.  You
do pay for the load prior to delivery .... but the turn
around on the money is short (a weekend in most instances
.. some have sold a couple of weekends to move most of the
merchandise.)  One thing is for sure ... a garage sale
once a month or a few times a year beats PEANUT BRITTLE!!

Please only ask for information if you have discussed this
with your Pastor and he feels that it is something that
your church would like to do to raise funds.  I don't want
to ask him to return calls if you haven't at least done
