The Fall (part 5)

Group

As requested I will continue the story. I will continue to tell it as a
third party because it seems easier to me. (I am not sure why)

Jesse's next few years seamed to fly by! He had his normal teenage
temptations and battles that we all go through . His home life was.....
Well lets just say that the healing of Jesse's foot seemed to intensify his
Step Dads hate for the things of God. and along with it his hate for
Jessie. Life at home was.... not fun! It became literally a fight to serve
the Lord.

But Jesse's refuge was the church he got fingers in nearly everything he
could in the church . He drove a Sunday School bus, (from which (Debbie)
a young lady 13 years old was saved she later to become Jesse's wife.) He
Taught Sunday School, (remember Center of interest?), He began to Preach
and play his old guitar weekly at 2 local convalescent homes. He did a lot
of things but his first love was Home Bible Study. Its fun to be a sole winner!

Jessie worked all through High school and spent as little time as possible
at home. He became well known at California Youth Camps, Youth
Conventions, Gen. Camp meetings, Fellowship meetings etc.

In 1972 after Graduating from High School, He went to work with an
industrial Painting Co. He had aspirations of being a preacher. (later he
realized that this was a personal desire and not a calling from God)
Jessie had moved out on his own . His girl friend Debbie and he were
planing there up-coming marriage .Everything seemed to be going great!

On November 9, of 1973 the church through Debbie a bridal shower, Jessie
was working that night at the Exxon oil refinery (in Binicia CA)
painting an Oil storage tank. He was working from a rolling staging ,
spray painting the inside of the roof of the tank. The deck he was
standing on was 76 feed from the floor. about 1:30 am the staging
collapsed. Jessies hit the floor from 76 feet up! (a 7 1/2 story fall)
