I have one possibility, and this is just my own personal thinking with
no hard foundation - We know the Bible says God will use the foolish
things to confound the wise...perhaps he placed certain "evidence",
i.e. fossils, etc., either to confound the so-called wise or just to
keep some things a secret unto Himself until we meet together in
Heaven.  Just a thought.
