Long hair

I just wanted to say that it is a blessing to hear the comments of these
sisters who understand the value of their long hair and are not always
trying to find a Scriptural loophole so they can cut it.

During this discussion, I am reminded of a testimony I once heard given
at Because of the Times (Alexandria). It has been a long time since I've
listened to the tape; so, if anyone remembers the details (which I am sure
are quite fuzzy to me), please send any clarifications. At any rate, a
pastor testified about the healing of his son who was severly injured in an
automobile accident. The doctors offered little hope, and I believe the boy
had slipped into a coma. The pastor and church, as well as many of the saints
of God, offered up prayers, but there was no change. Finally, the pastor and
his wife gathered next to the boy's hospital bed, and they began to ask God
to honour the wife's uncut hair. The boy was miraculously healed and released
very shortly from the hospital.

It would do all of our sisters good to be reminded of the power on their heads.
Long, uncut hair in obedience to the Word of God is a mighty tool that should
be better understood and more appreciated by many (men and women).

All Honour to Christ Jesus, our Holy God.
