Iron sharpeneth iron. I feel extremely honed in many areas of my life and
beliefs as a result of the threads on Higher-Fire. Keep it up!

Okay, here is something I've never really resolved along the lines of
outward holiness standards. I've chalked it up to cultural customs, but
where does one stop chalking???

Why do holy women shave their legs, wear hose and high heels when all of
these customs originated from prostitution (which I believe is also the
origin of living humans using makeup [as opposed to dressing up the
dead])????

According to Bro. Cole, if I were to wear hose in a country in the East (I
can't remember what country he mentioned), I would be considered a sinner.
And, also according to Bro. Cole, there are some churches in the good old
US of A that would consider me a sinner if I *didn't* wear them.

Again, I've filed these seemingly conflicting views under "Cultural
Customs". Whaddya think?
